Gunnar Computer Eyewear – Protect Your Eyes!

Now I’m not one to shamelessly promote an product. I really have to believe in something to recommend it to friends. When it comes to gaming and gaming gadgets, I really like to show people products that really work, especially if I’m currently using them!

One of the side effects of a marathon gaming session is the dry eyes that you get from staring at a screen for hours upon hours at a time. When I was on tour with AMP Energy, it wasn’t unusual for us to be looking at television sets for hours at a time without a break for (sometimes) up to 15 hours a day. When your eyes get tired, you lose that focus, the edge that keeps you above your competition. You need something that keeps you in the zone by keeping your eyes comfortable.

Best/Worst Modern Warfare 3 Maps

I’ve been playing a ton of Modern Warfare 3 lately. The multiplayer is probably the best yet in the series. Things are smooth, the weapons are great and the whole experience is very refined. One of the most important parts of online competition is knowing your maps. I’m really impressed by some of the maps in Modern Warfare 3, while others left me sorely disappointed. Here’s a rundown of my favorite (and least favorite) maps.

Beat Maker 2 – A great app for musicians on the go

As a musician, specifically a drummer, I’m constantly tapping and drumming on tables, keyboards, anything that’s in front of me at the time. It’s a small quirk I’ve had since I started playing music long ago. So, naturally, since you can find an app for everything now a days, I’ve been looking for an iPhone app that I could use to create simple rhythms and grooves, something to use on the subway, or just to waste some time with. Despite my efforts, I could never find something that addressed all of my needs. Finally, my search finally ended when I found BeatMaker 2.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches tonight, but Mat Langford’s Gaming World will preview the first few levels for you now!

Tonight is the night so many people have been waiting for! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now out, and you can bet there will be a whole lot of sick days used up today. There are midnight launches taking place everywhere, and having been at one of the MW2’s midnight release parties at Gamestop last year, it will be a joyous night for some pretty hardcore gamers.
